Georgios Mandellos was born in Mesolonghi. He received his engineering degree from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the University of Patras, in 1991. He worked on studies for public networks. In 2009 he received his doctorate diploma (PhD) from the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering of the University of Patras. Since 2014 he is a Laboratory Lecturer in the University of Patras. Since 1993 he is a member of the Communications and Telematics Applications Group of the Wire Communications Laboratory (WCL) of the University of Patras. His main research interests are in the area of telecommunicaton networks, multimedia applications sychronisation, distributed medical information systems, biosignals (sensors and protocols). During years 2005 and 2014 he was working for the Directorate of Technical Services Planning and Networks of the University of Patras. He was responsible for making studies and also for the design, programming and administration of the University Campus’ voice network. He has written and presented more than 30 scientific articles in international journals and conferences and has more than 180 citations in his research work.
