Evy Karavatselou was born in Patras. She received her engineering degree from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the University of Patras, in 1992. In 2000 she received her doctorate diploma (PhD) from the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering of the University of Patras. Since 2014 she is a Lab Lecturer in the University of Patras. Since 1994 she is a member of the Communications and Telematics Applications Group of the Wire Communications Lab (WCL) of the University of Patras. Her main research interests are in the area of next generation networks, multimedia applications sychronisation, distributed medical information systems. From 2000 till 2014 she was working for the Directorate of Technical Services Planning and Networks of the University of Patras. She was responsible for the design and administration of the University Campus’ voice network. She has written and presented more than 20 scientific articles in international journals and conferences and has more than 70 citations in her research work.
