George Theodoridis received the diploma degree in Electrical Engineering and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of Patras, Greece, in 1994 and 2001, respectively. In 2001 he was (as co-founder) with ALMA Technologies. S.A., Athens, Greece. From January 2002 to June 2003 he worked as researcher in VLSI Design Laboratory, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Patras University, Patras, Greece. During June 2003 to July 2009 he was Lecturer in the Department of Physics (Section of Computers & Electronics), Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Thessaloniki, Greece. In July 2009 he joined as assistant professor to the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of Patras University. His research interests include power estimation and low-power VLSI design, reconfigurable computing, and embedded systems design. He has co-authored more than 50 papers in international journals and conferences and three book chapters. Also, he has participated in more than ten (10) research projects funded by the European Union, Greek Government, and industry. |
