CMOS design methods: Design Strategies, CMOS Chip Design Options, Programmable Logic, Gate Arrays and Sea-of-Gate Design and Usage, Standard-cell Design, Full custom Mask Design, Design Methods, Behavioural Synthesis, RTL Synthesis, Logic Optimisation, Structural-to-Layout Synthesis, Layout Synthesis, Design-capture Tools, Design Verification Tools, Design Economics. CMOS Subsystem Design: Datapath Design, Adders/Subtractors, ALU, Multiplication, Memory Elements, Read/Write Memory Procedures, Content-Addressable Memory, Finite-State Machines, Control Logic Implementation.
